The day started off with rumors of TVXQ/DBSK disbanding, which was followed swiftly by SM Entertainment representatives stating, that they will pretty much do whatever it takes to keep TVXQ together. This major conflict resulted in Lee Soo Man, owner of SM Entertainment, to fly back home to Korea from his America headquarters, to try and resolve the matter personally. At this time however, there are still no new developments about the progress of the negotiations. There's only speculation and rumors of what's to come.A Music Industry Expert stated, "Usually when an issue like this arises, it's very difficult to come to a resolution. SNSD gets some love from SHINee in Genie performance

After an amazing helicopter/helipad Genie performance last week, the SNSD girls roped in their fellow SM Entertainment juniors, SHINee on Music Core this week for a sizzling hot dance intro. The SHINee boys started off with their Juliette moves and got the fangirls screaming like crazy before 5 SNSD members, Hyo Yeon, Soo Young, YoonA, Yuri and Jessica (to match the 5 SHINee members) stepped out to join them, as they danced to a remixed version of Juliette and Genie together.

At the 0:47 mark, all SNSD members appeared on the stage like magic, some neat camera trick there from MBC. After almost a minute, the SHINee boys left the stage to their seniors to perform Genie in a slick transition move before ending the show.

The pairings as follows:

Hyo Yeon - Onew
Soo Young - Key
YoonA - Taemin
Yuri - Minho
Jessica - Jong Hyun

Billboard Gets It All Wrong About The Wonder Girls

It was reported today that there was some misinformation published about the Wonder Girls on the American Billboard website. In the Artiste Biography section which introduces the Wonder Girls which was written by Chris True, only 3 instead of 5 names were listed as being the members of the group. It was mighty puzzling also to see Kim Hyun A being listed as an existing Wonder Girl member even though she had already left and is now part of a new girl group, 4minute back in Korea. The lack of correct information might cause some confusion for new fans of the Wonder Girls, particularly as Billboard is considered to be a definitive music source. They probably should have checked on Wikipedia for the information.

JYP Entertainment has already learnt about this and will be meeting the relevant people to sort this out. I wonder if it's because of the name changes for the other 3 members. In preparation for their American debut, only Yoo Bin and So Hee kept their original names while Sun Ye became Sun, Ye Eun became Yenny while Sun Mi became Mimi.

The Wonder Girls will be opening for the Jonas Brothers World Tour on 27th June and their digital single of Nobody in english will also be out.

Lee Min Ho Will Visit The Philippines On August

Lee Min Ho will visit major Asian countries from June till September and meet fans face to face. From the Taiwan promo in early June, China in July, Philippines in August and Japan in September Japan promo will be final.

Considering the visit to Thailand and Japan in April he will visit major Asian countries actually. His action is active to mark the dots to "Gu Jun Pyo" fever starting from the airing of 'BOF' in Asian countries since April in Japan and Taiwan.

Mr. Han Su Han, the manager of Starhaus entertainment of LMH's management company told "There were many visit inquiries from Asian countries. So we adjusted his schedule in order to meet as many countries and fans as possible." "For the time being he will focus on working for hallyu promotion. And will not make haste in his next project."

LMH's promotion schedule is very odd because it is started after the finishing point of 'BOF' local airing. It is general for drama promotion to start before it's airing. The peak foreign airing schedule is on Japanese TV TBS in July summer vacation season.

LMH will visit Japan in September after the airing of 'BOF'. And for this Mr. Han Su Han says "it's a strategy to meet fans after raising of his recognition through drama. In order to dramatize the effect we decide another way than previous promotion. and we think it's more effective to raise additional profit as re-run and dvd sales."

While LMH will go through operation of removal of iron core on his knee after Taiwan visit in early June.

Con- Ass (hole): an Ay or Nay?

Are we aware? or we choose not to be?
In the Philippines as of today, news about the pursuance of Con-Ass (Constituent Assembly) awakened the minds of the Filipinos in becoming critical; moving towards national empowerment and involvement with the current issues the country upholds.

As much of those that are in aggravation of being a neophyte of all that concerns Con- Ass, many are as well agitated to know more of this and seeks to understand what is this “Con- Ass” for?, or of why is it being pursued? Many are also eager to get convinced or condemn reasons of why it is being pursued and of why many disagree of its pursuit. And most of all many of the Filipinos wonder why it reached the approval of the Lower House (House of Representatives). All of these are to be discussed as we journey this blog.

Several reasons are to be considered of whether what pushed our representatives to pursue the said controversial decision of approving the possibilities of having Con- Ass which may hamper the reliability of the majority representatives and most especially; our country. From this, we then fall to the questions of its existence in the political eyes of Filipinos as to this date. WHY? WHY? WHY? Why? Con- Ass Why?

Having shown above, the reason of the proponents of the Con- Ass is that they see that the constitution in the Philippines is obsolete, unused (WASTE) to the current phase of our country and does need revisions, amendments or as said: CHANGE.

Yet, what is shown above is the great reason of why the opposition does not want the pursuance of Con- Ass as for today and pleads to settle first with issues about the election and not that door to extension of terms. They admit that they as well see the need for changes of the Philippine Constitution, yet believes that this is not right time to discuss, such key to open the doors of self interests of many.

Con-Ass? an Ay or Nay?

Proponents of Con- Ass wanted to achieve CHARTER CHANGE through it; NOW! As if there’s no tomorrow……

To achieve charter change; there are three modes that legislators may choose:

a.) Constituent Assembly (CON-ASS)

b.) Constituent Convention (CON-CON)

c.) Peoples Initiative (PI)

Primarily, all of these modes lead to charter change; they just all differ on ways or systems on how to achieve the said constitutional changes.

Constituent Convention; usually called the CON-CON, is a body organized and convened for the purpose of framing and adopting a new constitution, or of revising and amending the current one. The delegates of the Constituent body are either chosen or elected by the people as may be provided by law. On the other hand, the Sigaw ng Bayan's People's Initiative is one of the Filipino core values which mean the ability of the person/ people to act and make decisions without the help or advice of other people especially on the legislative and upper house. Here, it is the voice of the people as majority that changes the constitution. Lastly is the Constituent Assembly or Con-Ass. The bicameral Philippine Congress (Senators and House of Representatives) is in a Constituent Assembly mode when they formally convene to propose amendments or revisions to the 1987 constitution; and under Article XVII of the Constitution of the Philippines, upon a vote of three-fourths of all its Members the Con-Ass can be pursued.

As for the current status quo with the majority decision of the lower house specifically the House of Representatives, Constituent Assembly was given much consideration. But I myself oppose to the pursuance of Con-Ass in the country because it is not the constitution that we should change but the members of the constitution who abruptly pursue this mode of change. Why are they there in the first place? Isn’t it because of the people who voted them as their representative in the congress voted them there? But are they really doing their work as representatives of the people? Well that is for them to reflect. I guess the pursuance of Con-Ass can really affect the election next year but how I really hoped that the pursuance of Con-Ass can’t be a way to the extension of terms of those people in the constitution who do not deserve to be there.

Well enough of this political issues. Anyway

Guys Tohoshinki’s First Tokyo Dome Concert will be held on July 4 and 5 this year. I hope to be there but well please support them especially the Cassiopeian's and the Bigeasteneans don't forget to support them.
